About Us


The Grove Trust was founded in May 2010 by Katrina Barter in an effort to increase awareness of those in need in the community and build meaningful relationships between residents and local charities.

Julia Coupland
A local resident since 1999 with a background in management consulting specialising in change management and communications. Julia has also served on the board of Embrace, a global nonprofit company based in the USA.

A local resident with a huge amount of experience in the private and charitables sectors.

Special Advisor – Clare Richards, MBE
Previously the Director of the ClementJames Centre for over 20 years.
Currently the Director of the Coutts Foundation where she joined this year.
​Clare is also a founder and Trustee of IntoUniversity

We seek advice from various organisations within the community such as the K&C Foundation, the K&C Social Council and the K&C Borough Council.
