The Grove Trust
We would encourage anybody who would like to donate to those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire to give via the K & C Foundation Grenfell Tower appeal. The Grove Trust has already donated £20,400 from our special projects fund which was matched by the Big Give. We will reassess our area of focus for this year in September when we have been able to meet up with many of the charities who are involved in helping people affected by this disaster.
The Grove Trust is a registered charitable trust based in Notting Hill, London. We aim to further the relief of those in need in our community by channeling local funds to local charities.
The Grove Trust was established by a group of local residents who acknowledge the huge divide between the rich and poor in West London and believe that by working together to award grants to local charities we can make a significant impact on the lives of those less fortunate living amongst us.
Given the current economic climate and cuts in government funding, financial pressure on the charitable sector is severe. We aim to enable established charities with a proven track record to continue their valuable work in the local community and to help prevent them from cutting back or terminating much needed projects.
We were established in May 2010 and we are registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales (registration number: 1138361).
